Crazy cat lady!

J is gone this week. I'm surviving better than I thought I would. Sometimes, I surprise myself being able to do this whole adult responsible thing properly.* The kids have been fairly good, with crappiness mixed in there here and there but that would happen even if J was here. It's no different, really. Nothing dramatic has happened thus far. No lie, everything's been peachy keen.

I jinxed myself, didn't I? I still have three whole days by myself... I shouldn't have said anything. I'm an idiot and now the rapture is upon me.

Speaking of rapture, the weather has been bizarro. It was 63º yesterday and tomorrow is supposed to be 18º. shaking head

We had two rainy but warm days and I busted out my brand new kitty cat shoes (in January?). I'm a crazy cat lady and I don't care who knows it!!! I got them from ModCloth. I actually found them on Pinterest. I clicked through thinking these are going to be SO out of my price range but they weren't totally so I threw them into the cart and clickity-click... they are MINE!!!

Aren't they adorable?! They even have a super cute name, Up Your Alley Cat Flat. They were more than I normally spend on flats but I couldn't help myself. I've gotten a zillion compliments on them. They are so rad. Yes. rad. I love them and will pet wear them all the time.

Wow. This is the most boring ass post. I'm sorry. I got nuthin. The ole funny bone appears to be on vacation. At least no one is sick right now. Yay for that!

*That sentence came out all wrong but I can't figure out how to reword it, so I'm leaving it.
