Just me and my gal

Finally, FINALLY! We had a decent snow day! We got hit with 10 inches of snow, yesterday. My boss let us out early because it literally snowed all day long. It was coming down fast, who knew what we would end up with in just an hour. It was safest for everyone to just go home. FINE BY ME!

Ava and I made the most of it and went sledding. Just me an her. I can't remember the last time we did something fun like that, where we had nowhere to be but doing whatever we wanted, in that moment in time. We had an ETO day.

I'm not going to lie. I'm a bit of a poon. I'm hurting so bad today. We went up and down the hill an infinite amount of times. How do kids have so much freakin energy?! Sorry, babes, I'm going to sit here at the top of the hill and watch you go down a few more times before I go again. OYE! The point is, we did it. We did it together. There was no fighting, bickering, tantrums, etc. It was hands down the BEST day off.

I did get some footage of our sledding. I nearly took Ava out and I sound like a hyena laughing. J asked why I sounded like that. Well, I was having fun, it wasn't fake, I couldn't breath, snot was running out of my nose, I was cold but having the time of my life. Also, I was trying to not drop my phone. I still did anyways, at the end. Then it didn't work so good for a few hours after but now it's fine.


After an hour or so of sledding, we went home to make a snowman. The snow was CRAZY deep. We made the snowman and it didn't even look like we touched the yard. Ava wanted to destroy it the second I finished it. Oh hells no, kid!! I am way protective all that work I just did. Don't try and climb it either. That's a good-ass snowman. What do we do with it, now? Idk. Just look at it. It's pretty.

The few times EZ's been out in the snow, he hasn't been much of a fan. However, yesterday, he couldn't get enough. He pretty much stood in one place eating snow for a solid 10 minutes. Eventually, he just enjoyed walking around in thigh-deep (for him) snow. Mama was d.o.n.e. after a good three hours. EZ pitched the biggest fit of his life, when I carried him inside. Poor booboos. He's finally understanding how awesome snow can be and his mama is sooo mean!!

We came in to have some hot cocoa and chill. Ten minutes later, Ava passed out on the couch. THANK YOU SNOW FOR WEARING MY CHILD OUT! WHOOT!!
